Our New Normal

At Clark and Green, we are adapting to these somewhat uncertain times by embracing our new work-from-home studio culture. While our Bridge Street office might appear dormant, each C+G team member is working diligently every day to bring our many projects that much closer towards realization.

Web-based video conferencing and remote project server access has certainly made working from home easier, but the transition has not been without a surprising number of adjustments. We’ve needed to adapt to new surroundings and adopt what some might call “unconventional” methods to continue pushing our projects forward:

Building models with new materials and scale figures;

Learning to work in teams;

Drawing with the assistance of a dining room table. (Oh my, is that a T-square?);

And finally, simply knowing when to call it a night.

And finally, simply knowing when to call it a night.

So clearly, we are embracing our “new normal” in much the same way that we approach design: with patience, creativity and passion. And sure, stepping on a Lego at 11 PM while retrieving yet a third glass of water for your new “work partner” that won’t go to sleep, might not be ideal;

but at Clark and Green, we’re up for the challenge!
